By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. Our products
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on our website are accurate.
Product images are for illustration and presentation purposes. Packaging, colour and appearance may occasionally differ slightly from photographs shown on the website.
All products are subject to availability.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative, revised delivery arrangement or refund.
2. Prices
Prices shown on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you before proceeding with the order.
Any additional paid delivery option will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the selected goods subject to these Terms & Conditions.
You will receive an order confirmation electronically. The confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before dispatch where there is a legitimate reason, for example where:
-
a product is unavailable;
-
there is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
-
payment cannot be authorised;
-
we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or
-
fulfilling the order would breach a legal requirement.
Where we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
4. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments may be processed through services including Wix Payments and PayPal.
Praana Products Ltd does not store customers' full debit or credit card details in its own systems.
Your payment provider may apply its own terms, privacy policies and security procedures.
5. Delivery
We offer free standard delivery to all UK postcodes with no minimum order value, including Northern Ireland, the Highlands and UK islands.
We also deliver to Jersey and Guernsey at no additional standard delivery charge.
Standard orders are normally processed within 1–2 working days.
Priority Royal Mail Tracked 24
Priority Royal Mail Tracked 24 is available for an additional £4.00.
Orders placed before 12:00 pm on a working day are prioritised, processed and dispatched the same day.
Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 24 items on the next working day, but this is not a guaranteed next-day service. Some destinations, including Northern Ireland, the Highlands, islands, Jersey and Guernsey, may take longer.
Please ensure that the delivery address supplied at checkout is complete and accurate.
Unless we have agreed otherwise, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law. UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days unless another period has been agreed.
For full details, please see our Shipping & Returns Policy.
6. Risk and ownership
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or into the possession of a person you have identified to receive them.
Where you give a carrier specific instructions to leave a parcel in a designated safe place or with another person, responsibility passes once the goods have been delivered according to those instructions.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
7. Your right to cancel an online purchase
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the right to cancel an eligible order without giving a reason.
You must normally notify us within 14 days after receiving the goods. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To cancel, contact us at:
You may tell us clearly in writing that you wish to cancel your purchase. You do not have to use any particular wording.
Where you cancel because you have simply changed your mind, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
Some products may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where a statutory exemption applies, for example certain perishable products or sealed products which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. These exceptions do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Please see our Shipping & Returns Policy for further information.
8. Refunds
Where you validly cancel an eligible purchase, we will make any refund due within the period required by law.
For returned goods, we may wait until we receive the goods back or receive evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first where permitted by law.
If you paid extra for an enhanced delivery service, such as Priority Royal Mail Tracked 24, we are only required to refund the equivalent cost of our standard delivery service where the statutory cancellation rules apply. Our standard delivery service is currently free.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods supplied by us must comply with your statutory consumer rights.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described or otherwise does not comply with applicable consumer law, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Your rights concerning faulty goods are separate from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. UK consumer law provides specific remedies for goods that do not conform to the contract, and businesses cannot contract out of those rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes those statutory rights.
10. Product subscriptions
Some Praana Tea products may be available either as a one-time purchase or through a recurring subscription.
Where a subscription is offered, the price, discount, frequency and other relevant information will be shown on the product page and during checkout before you place the order.
Subscription payments recur at the frequency selected until the subscription is cancelled.
Customers can manage and cancel qualifying Wix Store product subscriptions through the My Subscriptions area of their website account. Cancellation stops future subscription orders from being created, although an order already generated before cancellation may still be processed.
You may also contact us if you require assistance with a subscription.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically cancel or refund an order that has already been processed. Any rights you have to cancel or return that particular order remain subject to applicable consumer law and our Shipping & Returns Policy.
11. Customer accounts
You may be able to create an account on our website.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and should notify us if you believe that your account has been accessed without authorisation.
Please ensure that information provided through your account is accurate and kept up to date.
We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, our website or our business from misuse or fraudulent activity.
12. Acceptable use of our website
You must not deliberately misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software, interfere with its operation or use it for unlawful purposes.
You must not copy, reproduce or commercially exploit our website content except where permitted by law or with our written permission.
13. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, product descriptions, graphics, logos, photographs and website design elements, belongs to Praana Products Ltd or is used by us with permission.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions grants you ownership of any intellectual-property rights belonging to us or another rights holder.
If you believe material on our website infringes your intellectual-property rights, please contact:
14. Third-party websites and services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services supplied by third parties.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of independent third-party websites.
Where you use a third-party service, its own terms may also apply.
15. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability which cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms & Conditions or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we do not exclude or limit any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.
UK guidance specifically warns businesses against terms that attempt to exclude responsibility for faulty goods, goods that are not as described, death or injury, or other statutory consumer protections.
16. Events outside our reasonable control
We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as serious postal disruption, extreme weather, transport disruption, natural disasters or failures affecting essential third-party infrastructure.
Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and keep you informed where appropriate.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
17. Privacy and cookies
Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is available through our Cookie Policy and cookie-consent controls.
18. Business and wholesale customers
These Terms & Conditions are principally intended for purchases made through our online retail store.
If you purchase goods wholly or mainly for business purposes, certain statutory consumer rights, including consumer cancellation rights, may not apply.
Wholesale, catering, private-label and other business transactions may also be subject to separate quotations, specifications, credit terms or written terms agreed between Praana Products Ltd and the business customer.
Where separate written business terms are agreed, those terms will take precedence in relation to that transaction.
19. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business, website, services or applicable law.
Changes will apply to future use of the website and future orders. They will not retrospectively change the terms governing an order that has already been accepted.
The latest version will be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
20. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions and purchases made through our website are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and rights available to you under applicable law.
Nothing in these terms prevents a consumer from bringing proceedings in a court where they are legally entitled to do so.
