WHAT IS HERBAL TEA?

Herbal tea, more accurately described as a herbal infusion, is made by steeping herbs, flowers, leaves, roots or spices in hot water. Unlike traditional black or green tea, herbal infusions do not usually contain leaves from the Camellia sinensis tea plant and are therefore naturally caffeine-free.
Herbal infusions offer a wide variety of flavours and aromas, from the gentle floral character of chamomile to the cooling freshness of peppermint and the naturally smooth, slightly sweet taste of rooibos. They can be enjoyed throughout the day, served hot or chilled.
Explore the Praana Tea collection of herbal infusions, including chamomile, rooibos and peppermint. Available in loose-leaf and convenient tea bag formats, our range offers a simple way to enjoy naturally caffeine-free flavours.
