For the purposes of UK data protection law, Praana Products Ltd is the data controller for personal information we collect and use in connection with our business.

We do not store full debit or credit card details ourselves. Online payments are processed securely through payment providers including Wix Payments and PayPal.

Praana Products Ltd does not store customers' full card numbers or card security codes in its own systems.

Payment providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy and security policies. Wix Payments is Wix's integrated payment-processing service, while PayPal operates under its own privacy framework.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where necessary to operate our business, we may share relevant information with organisations such as:

  • Wix, which provides our website, ecommerce, hosting and order-management services;

  • PayPal and Wix Payments, for payment processing;

  • Royal Mail and other delivery providers, where necessary to deliver your order;

  • Google, where you have consented to Google Analytics;

  • email, hosting and IT service providers;

  • accountants, professional advisers and regulatory authorities where necessary; and

  • law-enforcement or government bodies where we are legally required to provide information.

We only provide service providers with information necessary for the service they perform.

Wix has a formal Data Processing Agreement covering its processing of data for Wix users.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the website, online shop, security, customer accounts and checkout to function properly. Other cookies, including analytics cookies, help us understand how visitors use our website.

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage.

Where consent is required, non-essential analytics cookies should only operate after you have given your consent through our cookie controls. Wix states that Google Analytics connected through Wix collects data only after the visitor approves the relevant analytics cookies when cookie consent controls are used.

8. Google Analytics

Google Analytics may collect information about how visitors use our website, such as pages viewed, approximate geographical information, device and browser information and website interactions.

Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses for UK users; IP information used to derive approximate location is discarded before being logged.

We use this information to understand website performance and improve the customer experience. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors personally.

9. International data transfers

Some of the companies providing services to us operate internationally. This means personal information may sometimes be processed outside the United Kingdom.

Where information is transferred internationally, appropriate legal safeguards must be used in accordance with UK data protection requirements.

Wix states that it operates data centres including in the United States and Ireland and uses recognised contractual and other safeguards for international transfers. PayPal similarly states that it uses recognised transfer mechanisms where information is transferred outside the UK.

We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, tax and accounting requirements.

As a general guide:

  • Order, invoice and transaction records: normally retained for up to six years, or longer where required by law;

  • Customer account information: retained while the account remains active and for as long afterwards as reasonably necessary for legal or administrative purposes;

  • Customer correspondence: retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the enquiry, transaction or potential dispute;

  • Marketing information: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, subject to keeping limited suppression information where necessary to ensure we honour your request; and

  • Analytics information: retained according to the retention controls and policies of Wix and Google Analytics.

Where information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled securely.

The ICO permits organisations to state either a specific retention period or the criteria used to determine retention where an exact period is not appropriate.
