Our story originated in Sri Lanka (the home of Ceylon Tea), famed for its rich culture and customs in the tea world. The luscious, rolling hills and tropical climate make the ideal environment for tea plantations to thrive, and it’s one of the island’s largest exports. If would make sense then, that we’ve since settled in Yorkshire – whose rolling hills and not-so-tropical climate are the perfect setting for tea drinkers, equally famed for their friendliness and unbreakable spirit. It’s always been our aim to fuse the flair and heritage of tea growers in Sri Lanka with the strong traditions and enthusiasm of tea lovers in the UK – and we’re so happy to bring you along for that journey.
Built on our founder’s extensive experience in the tea trade, Praana Tea has developed a strong understanding of the market and the individual needs of our customers.
